The main reasons for people needing emergency food are low benefit income (36%), and delays (18%) or changes (16%) to benefits being paid.

In 2025, Durham Christian Partnership’s network of 35 foodbanks distributed over 208 tonnes of food which helped to feed those most in need in our communities. Thank you to everyone who donated.
