24,838 The number of emergency food parcels given to people in crisis in 2024.

The main reasons for people needing emergency food are low benefit income (36%), and delays (18%) or changes (16%) to benefits being paid.

In 2024 Durham Christian Partnership’s network of 37 foodbanks distributed over 238 tonnes of food which helped to feed those most in need in our communities. Thank you to everyone who donated. 

Durham Christian Partnership’s money advice service helped clients tackle a total of £3.7 million in debt in 2024.
